Good Morning Wasilla High Families,

Please take a moment to read this important message about PACE and student attendance. PACE (previously called Advisory) is an important class. We use this opportunity for students to achieve academic success, such as make up tests and quizzes and provide individual support from a teacher they know, plus go over school safety procedure, drills, and general beginning of the year information. Students have been placed with their second hour teacher to ensure a better path to receive help. This year students will be given the opportunity to participate in activities such as off campus for juniors and seniors, intramural sports, a cyber lounge, games and much more. We are asking for your assistant by not checking your child out during PACE.

Thank you for your support in this new endeavor, where we are trying to provide structured support and opportunities to have some fun. If your student currently has off-campus for 2nd hour or 7th hour, they do not need to attend PACE and should see their counselors to have it removed. We will be verifying all off-campus schedules before releasing those students.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. 907-352-8200

Thank you,

Wasilla High Administration
