Obstacle Course

  1. Athletes are grouped by grade/gender for competition.
  2. Each athlete will have 2 runs. The best time will be recorded.
  3. If an athlete fails to step in a tire, a one second penalty will be added, per missed tire. 
  4. The course layout:

 

Start line

 

30-foot mark: Tunnel

 

60-ft mark: 8  tires

 

90-ft mark: hurdle

 

120-ft mark: hurdle

 

150-ft mark: Finish line

Timer & recorder
  1. Courses will be run separately. Each runner will be timed on their own. It is NOT a race between the two courses.
  2. This event will need four volunteers per course: a starter, a timer and recorder at the finish line, and a tire observers/re-setter.
