TAG AT FLE IS ACCEPTING BOUNDARY EXEMPTIONS

TAG @ FLE Process:

  • After CogAT assessment results are shared, if your child qualifies for TAG and you are interested in TAG @ FLE, here is the timeline/informational meeting schedule:
  • Applications are reviewed beginning April 5.
  • The application also serves as the boundary exemption if you live outside the FLE boundary. We will consider boundary exemptions for any sibling(s).
  • Informational meetings for 2019 are scheduled for April 4 from 5-6pm and June 6 from 3:30-4:30pm
  • Come out to meet the teachers and principal. You may also give us a call anytime.
  • We look forward to meeting your family!

Regarding the TAG application, you can print it from the website https://www.matsuk12.us/domain/6754 (also attached here https://drive.google.com/file/d/12pp_HvqPkpMUJHWjq3m4fKfgFBzhxIG8/view) for your TAG student.

Lots of TAG siblings come to FLE as well on boundary exemption and it works out nicely for families. You will just need a regular boundary exemption (https://www.matsuk12.us/cms/lib/AK01000953/Centricity/shared/msbsd_forms/transportation/TRANS02%20Boundary%20Exempt.pdf) for the siblings if you are outside the FLE boundary.

We begin looking at TAG applications on April 5th.  The application for TAG also serves as the boundary exemption for that child.

Please visit with us at an info meeting, check the website, watch the videos about us, look at the TAG presentation, and call with questions!

Please let us know what else we can do for you.  Looking forward to meeting your family!
