    A+ Straight-Through Network Cable Lab
    A+ (Microcomputer Maintenance and Repair) students created straight-through network cables during a hands-on lab in October 2016.     Students in A+ (Microcomputer Maintenance and Repair) disassembled a computer on September 8, 2015.

     
    Graphic Design and Networking Career Exploration Field Trip (Spring 2015)
    Twenty-one business pathway students went on a field trip to the Mat Su Borough School District to explore careers in graphic design and networking.     Graphic Design and Networking Career Exploration Field Trip (Spring 2014)
    Twenty business pathway students went on a field trip to the Mat Su Borough to explore careers in graphic design and networking.     Graphic Design Career Exploration Field Trip (Spring 2013)
    Thirty-three business pathway students went on a field trip to the Inkspot and Frontiersman to explore careers in graphic design. 
     
     
    Network+ Patch Cable Lab (Spring 2013)
    Network+ students created patch cables during a lab in February 2013. Our industry guests were Mr. Jesse Jones (Matsu Technical Services) and Mr. George Riddle (Blueberry Island Lodge).

     
    Computer Reassembly Lab (Fall 2012)
    On September 11, 2012, students in A+ (Microcomputer Maintenance and Repair) reassembled the computer that they had taken apart the previous week.

     
    Color Wheel Creation (Fall 2012)
    Students in Desktop Publishing 1 have been learning about design elements. They completed a hands-on activity making their own color wheels using icing and cookies. They created primary colors and then combined primary colors to create secondary colors. Once their color wheels were created, they were able to enjoy their edible project!

    Computer Re-Assembly Lab (Fall 2011)
    On September 8, 2011, students in A+ (Microcomputer Maintenance and Repair) reassembled the computer that they took apart last week. They had a 100% success rate in re-booting the computers! Nicely done!!!

    Employability Skills Focus - Willingness to Learn (Spring 2011)

    Will's Presentation on Power Supplies (Fall 2010)
    A former A+ student, Will, has volunteered to come in during our A+ class during the fall 2010 semester to share his expertise. Will is currently a senior at CTHS and is working for a local company as a field technician. He has earned his A+ certification along with some other advanced certifications. These are some photos taken during his first presentation which was about Power Supplies. Thank you, Will, for volunteering in A+ this semester!
