BRENDON MCMAHON
Mr. McMahon grew up in Missoula, Montana and graduated from Missoula Hellgate HS in 1988. He received a B.A. in Secondary Education from the Western Montana College (now the Univ. of Montana-Western) in 1993, and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alaska in 2004. He also played 4 years of basketball at Western Montana College and coached Northway, AK to an Alaska 2A boys state championship title in 1998.
He taught English and history in Ashland, MT at St. Labre Schools for 2 years after graduating from college and then moved to Alaska in 1996. He taught in Northway, AK and Kotzebue, AK and then went on to become the principal at Chevak School in the Kashunamiut School District in western Alaska. He joined us at Colony High School in 2005. Mr. McMahon served as a teacher for one year at Colony High, teaching freshman and junior English. Then he was hired in the Fall of 2006 as the assistant principal overseeing curriculum and the master schedule, where he worked for the next 10 years. In the Fall of 2016, Mr. McMahon was hired as the building principal and this is his 5th year in that role.

Mrs. Raanes was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has been living in Alaska since 2010, taking the opportunity to work as a math teacher, special education teacher, district mathematics facilitator and principal throughout the state. She lives in Eagle River with her husband, Brandon, and their children (Dillan, Ashley, Lily, and Zephyr). Mrs. Raanes received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College in 2003 before completing a Master of Education program in Special Education through Arcadia University in 2010. Mrs. Raanes received her administrative certification after completing the Education Specialist program in Educational Leadership through Arkansas State University in 2016.

Mr. Lincoln is born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley and has taught in the Mat Su Borough School District for 20 years, teaching physical education/health and Teen Leadership. Mr. Lincoln is a graduate of Wasilla High School before receiving his bachelor's degree from UAA. He went on to earn graduate degrees from UAA and Western Oregon University in the areas of Educational Leadership and Information Technology. He served a 3 year term on the District's curriculum council and also served in the capacity at Colony as a CKH Process Champions leader. He has 20 years of high school coaching experience with head coaching experience in football, girl's basketball, and track & field. Tom's wife Shelli Lincoln is principal at Burchell High School and they have two children.
