Google Takeout
Graduating seniors and students departing the District will lose access to their MSBSD Google Drive accounts five days after graduation or separation from the District
Google Takeout is a data retrieval platform that allows users to export data from a number of Google products. Simply put, Google Takeout takes all your existing Google data and compiles it into one file, which can be downloaded later. Google Takeout Transfer enables moving Gmail and Google Drive data from your MSBSD Google account to a personal Google account. We highly recommend that seniors use one of these services to preserve their schoolwork and personal files. If you have any questions, please contact Chris Taylor.
Google Workspace
Google Workspace for Education is a collection of free online applications synchronized and flowing through Google Classroom and existing course materials.
Applications do not reside on the computers at school but are accessed through a web browser anywhere a student or teacher has an internet connection, allowing flexibility and personal choice for students to complete work anywhere, anytime they choose. MSBSD Google Apps and Permissions by grade level are listed below (Internal Only Sharing means only shared with other staff and students at MSBSD.)
