A+ (Microcomputer Maintenance and Repair)This course is designed to provide an in-depth study of the various areas that are related to servicing microcomputers and peripheral PC devices. This course will help prepare the student for the A+ Certification exam and will also be a useful resource to anyone wanting to gain more knowledge about PCs and related hardware. The course is not intended to create hardware and software experts. Rather, the intent is to provide students with a solid base understanding of PC hardware, DOS and windows (indirect relationships), Macintosh, networking, printers, and troubleshooting. Expertise in these areas will come from experience and continued study. - The very first thing that should be in your notebook, is your notebook grade sheet. - Right after your notebook grade sheet, you should have your class calendar.
- Then your tabbed sections begin. The tabbed sections that are required in your notebook are:1) Daily Work (all of your completed anticipation guides, graded lab study guides, worksheets and labs go in this section)
2) Misc. (everything else goes in this section)Being organized with your assignments is a very important employability skill. When an assignment is returned, be sure to put it in the proper section of your notebook.
