Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Lindsay was born and raised in Alaska.  She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and worked in behavioral health for several years before applying to a position with the Program for the Visually Impaired in the Mat-Su Borough School District.  She went on to get her Master's in Education as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired from Salus University in Pennsylvania.  She also has a Certificate in Low Vision Rehabilitation, and works as a Low Vision Therapist with the Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

She lives in Wasilla, AK with her husband, two children and dog Bailey.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking, stand-up paddleboarding and skiing.
