Hello!!
I transplanted to Alaska after growing up in eastern Washington on an apple orchard and cattle ranch. After raising my two beautiful daughters in my hometown, I decided it was time to live my own dream and drove north to Alaska in April of 2015.
I taught 4 years in Washington and 3 years on the Kenai Peninsula before making my way to Wasilla. I am very excited to be in the Mat-Su Valley and teaching 5th Grade at Knik.
I love the outdoors and have taken to fishing in Alaskan waters. My most memorable moment was when I caught a King dipnetting in 2017 on the Kenai River, but I also love catching halibut, rockfish and lingcod!
I am looking forward to a spectacular year and working with my wonderful students and their families.
