I grew up in New Hampshire and attended the University, where I received an Associates Degree in Business, and met and married my military husband. Together, we traveled and lived throughout the lower 48 and overseas with our two children, dogs, cat, ferret, gerbils, cockatiel, and fish. Upon reflection, it was our 2 tours in Alaska that inspired us to become Alaskans, when my husband retired from the military.

Upon his retirement, we remained in Fairbanks. Though I had previously gained a B.S. Degree from the University of Maryland, it wasn't until I received my Alaska teacher certification from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, that I followed my passion to teach. During our 12 years in Fairbanks, I had the privilege to teach for private and public schools, pre - K through 6th grade.

I continued to teach for private institutions and public schools, when my husband and I moved into the Valley eight years ago. I remain inspired and humbled by the partnership that "Together Everyone Achieves More," as staff, family and students, work as a "TEAM" committed to school's values and student learning.

I look forward to working with you and your student in the coming school year. If you should have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to e-mail me.
