Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! I'm excited to be here at Palmer High School teaching agriculture and welding! This year I'll also be working with Apex students opting for at home learning.
I graduated from Homer High School and pursued higher education at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. I received my Bachelor's Degree in agricultural education and natural resources. I then received my Master's Degree in agriculture and consumer resources at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. During my time at Tarleton State University, I also completed my student teaching at Kuna High School in Kuna, Idaho. Finally, I began my teaching career in Anchorage, Alaska until I ended up here at Palmer! I've been around the United States experiencing education and FFA, giving me a well-rounded background! I am excited to be here at Palmer High School and look forward to the many adventures to come.
If you are a student or parent looking for more information about my classes at Palmer High School, please feel free to reach out and to look at the file download library where I keep all syllabi for my classes. Students may find most if not all classwork and class information in their google classroom. I limit homework considerably believing in research saying learning is primarily gained in the classroom rather than through homework.
If you have any comments, questions, or concerns please feel free to reach out. My door is always open.
