Dear Academy Families,
We are pleased (and excited) to provide Academy families with a couple of opportunities to be more involved and more informed as to how the 501c3 Nonprofit intersects with and provides support to Academy Charter School’s school district budget
As we are a working school, with the goal of limiting any disruption to Academy’s primary focus on learning, we are excited to announce that we will provide semiannual opportunities for the public to review and inspect, in-person, any and all receipts, bank statements and accounting records for Academy’s non-profit accounts.
The 3 most recent years of the 501c3 non-profit 990EZ tax filing reports, which include any schedules, attachments, or supporting documents, are available anytime for your perusal on line. (Please find the link at Academy Charter’s Facebook page and Academy’s website.)
During these 2 days each year, the principal (Barbara) will be available to provide interested persons with an overview as to how it all intersects. It is amazing how Academy’s enhanced learning occurs with only the basic contributions of $181 a year and the 2 fundraisers the annual raffle and Duck Derby!
For the 2015-16 school year we are providing 2 such opportunities. We welcome the opportunity to share with you how our incredible academic machine works!
