I am so excited to be working our Native youth this year teaching 6th through 10th grade!  I grew up in Oklahoma, received my degree from the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER!), and then taught middle school and high school before moving to Alaska.  I have lived here since 2009 and am looking forward to another exciting year.

 

I will try to incorporate hands-on and/or group activities when possible and try to relate what we are doing in class to real life.  Students received a syllabus that covers the general routine and expectations.  Normally, I require students to have a binder that is specifically for math.  This year that is optional but recommended.  Please note: I usually update grades only once a week for all classes.
