My name is Stephanie Bergin and I am a kindergarten teacher here at Snowshoe Elementary.  This is my seventh year teaching in the Mat-Su Borough and I have enjoyed each and every year.

I am originally from Colorado where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences and certification to teach Early Childhood Education.  I have taught in numerous places from Colorado to Florida, Kansas and overseas in the United Arab Emirates.

My family and I reside in Palmer where we enjoy outdoor activities that include hunting, fishing, horseback riding, hiking and berry picking and indoor activities of cooking, crafting, sewing, reading, watching movies and listening to music.

I enjoy teaching at Snowshoe and love to see my students grow and learn.  I believe that each child deserves a learning environment that fosters security, love and encouragement towards the exploration of learning.  Everyday, I look forward to seeing my students explore and expand their horizons and feel honored to be a part of their lives.  My goal is to make a positive impact that will last a lifetime for children to reflect upon in their lives.
