Prospective NHS members, parents, and other interested parties...read all about us! http://www.nhs.us/From the national website: "The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921."
Our charity of choice for the 2015-16 school year is the Moyer Foundation's Camp Erin (run by Hospice of Anchorage) for young people ages 6-17 who have experienced the loss of a loved one to help them learn positive strategies for dealing with grief.
