    Hello my name is Jared Barrett.  I am excited about teaching Physical Education this year at Big Lake Elementary.  A little about myself is I grew up in the Big Lake area and I attended Big Lake Elementary as a child and I am a graduate of the valley. I graduated from Houston High School in 1998 and went on to Culver-Stockton College in Missouri.  There I received a Bachelors Degree in Physical and Health Education.  This is my 15th year teaching in the valley.  I taught for 4 years at Houston Middle School as their Physical Education Teacher also 3 years at Burchell High School and now I am on my 8th year as Big Lake Elementary Physical Education Teacher.  I have been coaching football at Houston High School for 16 years and I also coached some wrestling for them.  I am very proud to say I have been the Head Coach of the Houston Native Youth Olympic Team for the last 15 years. We have built a great program! I am also the
