Meet Miss BekkerMiss Bekker and Halibut
I was born and raised on a farm in Northeast Montana. My parents and my brother and his family still live there. I moved to Alaska in 2001 and I enjoy everything this beautiful state has to offer. When I am not teaching, I spend my spare time fishing, hunting, quilting, and spending time with my husband Kurt and our four kids.
I have been teaching at MSBSD since 2009. I've taught first grade through eighth grade and tutored high school students in Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry. I enjoy a challenge and integrate technology in students' learning. I am the 3-5 Blended Academy teacher at Knik Elementary. I am also the Mat-Su Virtual Learning teacher for at home learning. I take pride in being a Knik King and working for MSBSD.Garrison, Miss Bekker, and LedgerBlended Academy ScheduleM-Th 12:00 - 3:40 Project Block3:45 DismissalMat-Su Virtual Learning ScheduleM-Th 9:30 - 11:30 Office HoursFriday 9:30 - 3:00 Office Hours
