Meet Miss BekkerMiss Bekker and Halibut
I was born and raised on a farm in Northeast Montana. My parents and my brother and his family still live there. I moved to Alaska in 2001 and I enjoy everything this beautiful state has to offer. When I am not teaching, I spend my spare time fishing, hunting, quilting, and spending time with my husband Kurt and our four kids.
This is my ninth year of teaching for MSBSD. I've taught first grade through sixth grade tutored high school students through algebra. I enjoy a challenge and integrate technology in students' learning. I am excited to be the 3-5 Blended Academy teacher at Knik Elementary. I take pride in being a Knik King and working for MSBSD.Garrison, Miss Bekker, and LedgerBlended Academy ScheduleMornings are optional9:25 - 10:10 Specials10:10 - 11:00 Independent Study Hall11:00 - 11:30 Recess11:30 - 11:55 LunchOfficial Class12:00 - 12:15 Bellwork12:15 - 12:45 Class Meeting12:45 - 2:00 Skills Block2:00 - 2:20 Recess2:20 - 3:40 Project Block3:45 Dismissal
