This is my 5th year working with Houston high school students. I am assigned to students with last names "L -Z". Previously, I worked at Houston Middle School and formerly Houston Jr/Sr High School for the past 22 years.
I grew up outside of Philadephia, PA and traveled to the University of Alaska -Fairbanks to play basketball. I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at UAF and returned to Pennsylvania. I earned my Masters of Education in School Counseling at West Chester University. I married my wonderful husband and returned back to Alaska settling in the Houston area to work and start a family.
I am excited to be working with high school students as they begin to explore post-high school possibilities The teen years are both challenging and highly rewarding as teens navigate from who-and-where they are now to who-and-where they want to be.
