• Hello Snowshoe Families,

I wanted to let you know that we as a staff are doing all we can to ensure your child's education continues during this uncertain time.  It's important that we all try to stay on a schedule as best we can.  Continue to have set wake-up and bedtimes, get out of the jammies and have a good breakfast.  As you create your own daily schedules, be sure to add at least 30-45 minutes of activity before lunch and in the afternoon.  Take advantage of the Grab and Go program the district has in place that is closest to your home.  Drink plenty of water throughout the day.  With the longer days and more sunshine, get outside and off the screens.  Your classroom teachers are providing educational tools for you to use.  When the weather doesn't cooperate or you need a change of pace, I have updated links that may be used to help get the wiggles out.  Please use "K-2 Assignments" and "3-5 Assignments" link to access new activities each week.  YouTube provides a variety of movement videos that the students are familiar with.  Families, feel free to join in the fun.  Keep practicing your push-ups, sit-ups, plank, jumping jacks, wall sit and mountain climbers.  It is recommended getting 60 minutes of activity everyday.  Please email me any questions or concerns you may have.

Welcome to another great year at Snowshoe Elementary!  I am thrilled to be your child's PE teacher.
This is my 15th year at Snowshoe!  I have been in and out of the classroom since 1992.  I have two Bachelors of Science degrees - Elementary Education and History.  I graduated from State University of New York, Potsdam.  I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through Arkansas State University.
I have been married for 29 years to my husband Brett.  All our children are grown. We have an adorable Havanese, Eli.
I am originally from Alabama and love my Crimson Tide!  I also enjoy watching my other favorite football and baseball teams - NY Giants, Denver Broncos and NY Yankees.  In the summer I enjoying hiking, gardening, fishing, and playing with Eli outside.  In the winter, I love snowshoeing, knitting, sewing and reading.
Feel free to call or stop by anytime.  Have a great year!
