MSBSD designs routes based on the State of Alaska Admin Code 4AAC 27.011. The code outlines the following information:

• Establishing regular routes, including distance from existing bus stops
  • Distance from school
  • Types of eligible roads
  • Policy for duplicate mileage
• Establishing special education routes
• Hazardous routes
• Charter school transportation

The Stop Change Request/Review Form is available year-round for download and submission on our Bus Stop Request. All requests are evaluated in light of the State of Alaska Admin Code 4AAC 27.011. If you have difficulty accessing the form, please contact the Pupil Transportation Department.
