Pay Dates
Employees are paid on the 15th and last day of the month. If either of these fall on a weekend, pay day is the prior Friday. Click on your classification below to view your pay schedule.
Classified (employees who are covered by the CEA negotiated agreement, regardless of union membership)
Certified (employees who are covered by the MSEA negotiated agreement, regardless of union membership)
Administrators (employees who are covered by the MLMA or MSPA negotiated agreement, central office administrators, and School Board Members, regardless of union membership.
Classified Summer Pay Election
Many hourly employees are not paid year-round. To help alleviate the financial hardship this may cause, MSBSD offers an option to have a flat amount or percentage of your net (after-tax) pay withheld from your paychecks. If you elect this option, you will receive the withheld pay in one lump sum payment on your last paycheck of the fiscal year.
Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit changes can be made through Munis Self-Serve. Click here for instruction on how to update your direct deposit information with MSBSD. You must have a primary account in order to update your direct deposit information. If you have not previously had your checks directly deposited, please submit a hardcopy of the "Direct Deposit Form" to the Payroll Department.
