All employees are paid on the 15th day of the month, and the final day of the month. If either of these fall on a weekend, then pay day is on the prior Friday.

Classified employees are those who are covered by the CEA negotiated agreement, regardless of union membership.

Certified employees are those who are covered by the MSEA negotiated agreement, regardless of union membership.

Administrator employees are those who are covered by the MLMA or MSPA negotiated agreements, central office administrators, and School Board members, regardless of union membership.

Temporary employees are those not covered by the above agreements, such as substitutes, interns, or student workers.

Changes to your Direct Deposit instructions can be made through Munis Self-Serve. Click here for instructions on how to update this information.

Note: You must have a primary account in order to update your direct deposit information. If you have not previously had your checks directly deposited, please submit a hardcopy of the "Direct Deposit Form" to the Payroll Department at the Administration Building.

Many hourly employees are not paid year-round. In order to alleviate the financial hardship this may cause, MSBSD offers an option to have a flat or percentage amount of your net (after-tax) pay withheld from your paychecks.

Please note that if you elect this option, you will receive the withheld pay in a single lump sum payment on your final paycheck of the fiscal year.

You can make changes at any time to your W-4 in My Pay. If you previously owed taxes or received a larger than expected refund, you may want to consider updating your tax status and adjusting your FIT withholding.

If you require proof of employment or income, please have your verifier complete the process at www.experianverify.com. They will then need to register and submit their request online.
