The MSBSD is aware of the importance of keeping student data private and secure, and takes its responsibility to protect student information seriously. We also understand that the rapid development and progress of new technology tools and applications, especially online and “cloud-based” services, introduces new challenges and concerns about the safety and security of student information. Managing student data privacy and security is an ongoing and dynamic process that will require regular review and revision. MSBSD has the following Board Policies that reference student records and privacy; BP 5125 and AR 5125
Please find below a list of online applications and services that students in MSBSD regularly use as part of classroom instruction. You will find a short description of the application or service, how it is used, what student data is shared with the service in order to maintain student accounts, and links to the privacy information and policies of each vendor. There may be additional applications or services that are used by a specific school and we will work with each school to include those applications in the list below.
