
School-Connected Organizations
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District recognizes the important role that school-connected organizations play in supporting students, programs, and activities throughout our schools. We appreciate the time, resources, and dedication these organizations contribute to enriching educational opportunities for our students.
To promote transparency, accountability, and effective coordination with schools, the District asks that all school-connected organizations adhere to the expectations outlined in MSBSD Board Policy 1230 – School-Connected Organizations and AR 1230 – School-Connected Organizations.
All school-connected organizations must submit an initial request for recognition as a school-connected organization. Requests will be presented to the School Board and once approved, authorization to continue operating as a school-connected organization with MSBSD will be automatically renewed each year.
School-connected organizations should provide any changes to their organization’s purpose or any officers and contact information each year. Annual financial statements must also be submitted each year.
