
Athletic Registration
All High School students participating in athletics must be enrolled in the MSBSD prior to registering for an activity. If you are not an MSBSD student use the Homeschool Students tab to learn how to enroll prior to registering and paying athletic fees.

Activity Fees
Activity Fees
- Fees are due in full once the paperwork to participate in an activity is submitted and the school has assigned the fee to the student prior to the start of the activity.
- Notes: The maximum total amount of fees charged is $750 per student, per year for High School sports and $300 per student, per year for Middle School sports. Other fees are charged according to the schedule.

Waivers
Activity fees are required unless:
- Student receives or applies for a fee waiver. (Reduced athletic fees are one-half of the regular fee.) Students who qualify for Free or Reduced Meals pay a reduced fee. You may also complete and submit an Activity Fee Reduction Form. If you intend to apply for Free or Reduced Meals and choose to pay the reduced fee, understand that you may have to pay the balance if you do not qualify.
- A student meets the $750 high school cap or $300 middle school cap for activity fees.

- Online payment of fees can be made using your own ParentVUE account under the Fees section on the left. Visit this page for more detailed instructions.
- You may also pay by check at your school of participation.

Homeschool Students

Policy
Senate Bill 119 allows homeschool students in grades 9-12 to participate in athletics at a public school.

Note: The Out of District Athletic Registration process is used for all homeschool students participating in activities or athletics at any grade level.

Before you participate, you must:
- Be eligible to participate in ASAA activities. See the Eligibility section to the left for more information. You are also encouraged to direct eligibility questions to the Athletic Department at your school.
- Enroll in the school of participation.
- Use ParentVUE to fill out the Out of District Athletic Registration. If you do not have a ParentVUE account, you can visit https://www.matsuk12.us/registration for information on creating an account, including contact information for Call Center assistance.
- You will be asked to choose the traditional high school you will be participating at during this registration. Your registration will be routed to that school and the school will contact you with more information. At this point you can move to the next step.
- Use ParentVUE to fill out the Out of District Athletic Registration. If you do not have a ParentVUE account, you can visit https://www.matsuk12.us/registration for information on creating an account, including contact information for Call Center assistance.
- Register for the activity with the school you are requesting to participate at. See the Register tab on this page for help registering through Student Central.
- Pay Fees - See the Activity Fees tab on this page for information and help using ParentVUE to pay fees.
