Hi ... I'm Ms. Carole Jones.

Let me help you get to know me a bit better ...

I've loved and lived in Alaska for over 50 years.  I grew up in Anchorage and graduated from Service High School.  I attended UAA and have a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Geology.  I am a rock and dinosaur freak!

I am a single mom to my son Joe, a responsible and young man.  We own our humble little home near 4 Corners between Palmer and Wasilla.  A Christian non-smoker, I have been a member of Church on the Rock for about ten years.  I have had an amazing blessed life with a wide spectrum of experiences and employment.  I have been a welder, an EMT and firefighter, a horse packer and guide, and owned a successful animal petting farm for nearly ten years.  I have been a professional landscaper as a Master Gardener.  Lately, well at least during the last fifteen years, I have been a First Grade classroom teacher at Pioneer Peak Elementary, which is literally my second home!

Those of you who know me though understand that's not all that makes me tick.  I'm an avid reader and scrapbooker.  I love dogs and cats, but especially my little scrat dog, Bug, a rescue wiener dog, Brady, and an Abby tuxedo cat at the foot of my bed.  In fact, I love all birds and animals, except the moose that come through my yard; they can be a gardeners' worst nightmare.

I love to play in my yard and garden, and help others get the most out of their site and seasons.  Let me know if you need help and/or advise at your garden site. This is just one of my many summer passions though.

I love riding my motorcycle and I love to paddle my kayak.  I also love to hike and camp because I LOVE ALASKA!

So, there you have it, just a little bit about me in a nutshell.

Doors have opened for me all of my life.

    Every day is a blessing.

I love meeting people to develop relationships,

and enjoy living life full of diversity.

    NO FEAR!
