• The Mat-Su Borough School District requires students to earn 25.5 credits (51 classes) to receive a high school diploma.

With the increase in graduation requirements, students have no room to fail a class and still graduate on time.

    Below are credit recovery options:

    Tutoring options at school:

    • Lunch Time Learning (T-Th in an assigned classroom)

    • After-School Tutoring (M-Th 2:15-4:00 with Mr. Hall - permission slip required)

Please contact your student’s counselor to make an appointment to discuss progress, possible credit recovery resources and to make a plan for graduation.

We encourage you to routinely review your student’s academic progress and attendance by checking ParentVue (go to Course View to see which classes your student still needs to complete),

attending Parent-Teacher Conferences in October and February, and corresponding with teachers regularly.
