    The Lawntrepreneur Scholarship is our way of funding tomorrow's top entrepreneurs. Maybe you sowed the seeds of your entrepreneurial spirit by starting a lawn care company in high school. Maybe you're planning on building the next big landscaping company. Either way, if you've got the entrepreneurial bug in you, then we want to help fund your dream. We're fixing the large and disorganized lawn care industry, and we're willing to grant $1000 to any student we believe has the potential to change the world through entrepreneurship. If you are interested in starting your own business, we'd love to hear from you.

    We offer the scholarship to a student each semester. The entry for the Fall semester is May 1st to August 20th and it's open for the Spring semester from August 31st to December 31st.. We will announce the recipient on August 31 and January 2nd of the subsequent year.

    Who are we looking for?

    (You only need one)

    A) You currently own a lawn care business, ran a lawn care business in the past, or plan on starting a business upon graduating college.

    B) You're passionate and ambitious.

    C) You have the willpower, work ethic, and desire to build the next great business.

    D) You are a high school senior (who is going to pursue college degree) or full-time college student enrolled in a two-year, four-year, or graduate program. This scholarship is open to all majors.

    If that sounds like you, you should apply.

    What do we need from you?

    To sift through applicants and choose the winner, we'll need you to send in a few items. Please send the following to scholarships@lawnstarter.com:

    A) A copy of your transcript

    B) A copy of your updated resume

    C) A 500-700 word essay that you wrote on the following topic: "What makes you passionate about building a business?"

    Mrs Prindables created the original Gourmet Caramel Apples more than 30 years ago, and now offers a variety of Caramel and Chocolate Confections, as well. We are pleased to extend a 2022 Scholarship opportunity to incoming or current college students majoring in education. We believe that educators have the power to spark positive development in student's lives and their futures.

    Whether you are an incoming freshman or current student majoring in education, we want to encourage you to apply for this $1,000 scholarship.     Each year Wine Country Gift Baskets awards annual scholarships to three well-deserving students displaying the spirit of giving. The Wine Country Gift Baskets Spirit of Giving Scholarship is our way of encouraging acts of kindness, service and giving so they remain an important part of our future.

    We are happy to award a scholarship of $1,000 to three winners.


    High school seniors and current college students planning to attend college or another form of post-secondary education for the full school year following the submission period are eligible to apply. Eligible institutions include but are not limited to four-year universities, community colleges, institutes of technology and accredited credential or certificate programs.

    Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

    A) Planning to attend school in the following school year at an institution within the US.

    B) Not an employee or family member of Wine Country Gift Baskets or Houdini Inc.

    C) Not a previous winner of this scholarship.


    Applicants are required to submit all of the following:

    A) Proof of enrollment for the upcoming school year. Incoming freshman can provide a copy of the acceptance letter and a supporting document showing they have started a relationship with the school.

    B) Submission essay 500-750 words on one of the following topics:

    1) How have you advanced the spirit of giving in your community or abroad either through service or in giving?

    2) How has the spirit of giving affected you personally?

    3) How will your college or post-secondary education allow you to be of service to others or give to others?

  • Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship for Autism

    As attorneys, we believe that education is not only a tool for personal development, but also the means by which individuals can better their own lives and ultimately shape and improve their communities. We know that earning a post-secondary degree can be the difference between a strong, successful career and a lifetime of hardship. We want that opportunity to be open to all students equally, especially those who have autism and often face obstacles that other students do not.

    The Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship is open to high-achieving students who meet two key criteria:

    A) Either you or a close family member has been diagnosed with a form of autism, including Asperger syndrome, and

    B) Applicant must be an enrolled student at an accredited college, university, or vocational school, or be accepted to begin school at an accredited college, university, or vocational school in the semester for which the application is being offered.

    Additionally, applicants should submit an essay on one of the topics listed below with a minimum of 500 words and maximum of 1,000 words.

    Our hope is that this scholarship will help offset the financial burden of attending school for a deserving student who is facing unique challenges because of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We hope that all eligible students will apply, and look forward to bestowing this grant.

    Essay Topics:

    A) Tell us about a time that you have had to overcome an obstacle as a person with autism that other people would not have had to face.

    B) Explain how your loved one’s autism has affected you and how you have adapted to help them.

    C) Answer this question: What do you feel is the biggest obstacle holding back people with autism today?

    Applicant Requirements:

    A) Applicant must be an enrolled undergraduate student at an accredited college, university, vocational school, or be accepted to begin school as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university for the Fall 2020 semester.

    B) Applicant must submit their most recent official or unofficial transcript (i.e. high school, college, or post-graduate)

    Students are able to apply for our $2,000 scholarship which can be used towards tuition for their next semester at college. All drawings will be done early August each year after submission deadlines have passed. All interested students will be required to write a short essay about their opinion on how Minecraft can be a positive influence within their education and career development. Minecraft has been used in many different facets of education and we want to know how you believe that the game can be further utilized to enhance learning and development. We are interested in hearing your thoughts and experiences about how this amazing game that we love can be much more than just a game.

    Eligible students will need to:

    A) Write a short essay of no less than 500 words about your opinion on how Minecraft can be a positive influence on education and career development.

    B) Fill out the information form below with your essay and appropriate information.

    To be Eligible:

    A) You must be a United States citizen.

    B) You must currently be enrolled in college or high school.

    C) You must carry a 3.0 or higher GPA.


    The Apex Hosting LLC scholarship committee will review each application and notify the recipient by e-mail.

    The Secular Student Alliance is accepting applications for the 2022 Student Activist Scholarships.

    The scholarships are available to full-time students enrolled in high school or college in the United States and are designed to support students who in addition to pursuing excellence in their academic studies are also activists for secular values on their campus and/or in their community.

    Before you start on the application below you may wish to take some time and write out answers to the following questions which will appear in part three of the application.

    A) What are your educational, career, and life goals?

    B) What is your secular identity? How did you come to your secularism and how do you see it remaining a part of your life?

    C) What other aspects of your identity intersect, interact with, or inform your secularism?

    D) What secular activism have you been involved with (on campus or off)?

    E) What intersectional activism have you been involved with (on campus or off)?

    F) What activism plans do you have for this academic year?

    G) Why is the work of the SSA important to you and what are your goals relating to the Secular Student Alliance Mission and Vision?

    H) What obstacles, barriers, or financial hardships have you faced in pursuing your academic goals? What role would this scholarship have in helping you overcome these challenges?

    As part of the application process, please prepare a 30-60 second video in which you tell us a little bit more about one aspect of your application: about your secular identity, or why it is important to you, or why you are passionate about state/church separation or your activism, or highlighting something important to you.

    Research is a critical component for the development and advancement in the life science community. We want to further scientific achievement by helping students who are interested in developing a career in science.

    A) The Novus Biologicals Scholarship is for students pursuing education in a science related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science)

    B) Awarded twice each year in the Fall & Spring semesters

    C) A $1500 (or international currency equivalent) scholarship will be awarded to one student for the fall and spring semesters.

    D) Schools/Colleges/Institutes within US, Canada, and European Countries only

    How to Apply

    A) Fill out the scholarship application form

    B) Upload the required documents mentioned in the application form

    C) Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation page (not an email). If you did not reach the confirmation page, your submission did not go through. If you did reach the confirmation page, then we received your application


    A) Applicants must have a major declared in a science-related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science)

    B) Enrolled or accepted for enrollment (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma - any level of education above high school)
