Per School Board Policy please DO NOT SEND MEDICATIONS TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR STUDENT (this includes everything from cough drops to dye free Motrin or Tylenol, ect.)
ALL MEDICATION MUST BE DELIVERED BY A PARENT/GAURDIAN OR THEIR DESIGNEE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE, if it is a Prescription (Rx) medication, it must have the Pharmacy Lable on it with the correct name and orders.
Over the counter (OTC) medications that are premitted to be administered in the school setting by the school nurse with parent approval, without a physician order are: Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin/Advil (ibuprofen), Benadryl (diphenhydramine), Lactaid (lactase), Tums (calcuim), and cough drops. Any other over the counter (OTC) medication may be given only with a prescription from a Health Care Provider.
