    Also known as Third Party Assessments (TSA), Industry Cerdifications are credentials that are recognized by business and industry at the local, state or national level. It could be an assessment, an examination or a license that is administered and recognized by an industry third-party or governing board.

      Certifications such as:  American Welding Society, Certified Nursing Assistant, Private Pilot Ground School, Microsoft Office Specialist, 10-hour OSHA, First Aid, Food  Handler's Card, AutoCAD, Wildfire Figthing Red Card, NCCER - Construction Trades

    Dual-enrollment College Credit for CTE Courses

    Formerly known as "Tech Prep" in the CTE world, dual-enrollment CTE is the opportunity to take a high school course and concurrently earn postsecondary education credits toward an associate's degree. 

    Advanced degree levels, private post-secondary trainers, Military, and apprenticeships are other partners who might offer credit or advanced placement into their programs for courses/programs taken in high school.
