    An Action Profile is a school’s plan on how the school will meet the needs of all children. The plan is divided into sections that tell the story of different school functions. Based on the identified areas of improvement, the school then developed goals and actions to help them achieve their goals.

     

     

    Houston High School Compact 2017-18

    Each school must jointly develop with parents of all children served under Title I a school-parent compact that outlines how parents, the entire school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents twill build and develop a partnership to help children achieve proficiency on the Alaska State Standards. 

     

     Houston Parent Engagement Policy 

    Each school shall jointly develop with, and distribute to, parents of students in Title I programs a written parent involvement policy, agreed upon by such parents, that shall describe the means to offer flexible meeting times, involve parents in planning, reviewing, improving and developing the Title I Plan, involve and inform parents of the development of the School-Parent Compact and to provide information about the curriculum at the school, ways parents can participate in school and a description of the Title I Plan.
