Ms. Cary Bloomquist
My name is Cary Bloomquist and I am teaching Special Education Math and Science here at Palmer High School. I have been Alaskan resident for 15 years. I have a 4 year old daughter, Adeline, and 2 dogs Mocha, and Gravy. I have spent the last 14 years teaching middle and high school science in Kenny Lake, Tok and Anchorage, and also taught Chemistry and Physics for a period of time in Pine City, MN. I have taught Special Education for 1 year in Kenny Lake. I am an avid outdoorswoman and have spent my summers in the Copper River Valley guiding for bears and salmon since 2002. I enjoy participating in sports. I have coached soccer, volleyball, and cross-country skiing. I am certified with National Archery in the Schools Program, and also with Department of Fish and Game as a Basic Hunter Education, and Muzzleloader instructor.
I am using the Google platform in all my classes, and am posting announcements, projects, and assignments on Google Classroom and Google Calendar. If you would like information on gaining access and alerts to this to help your student, please do not hesitate to contact me for an access code. It is a very simple process to complete, and you will need your own Google account.
I am looking forward to my time here in Palmer, and am looking forward to getting to know and working with the students, parents, and community! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by email at email@example.com or by phone at 907-746-8400.
