Challenge Alaska Tuesday, February 17, 2015

On February 17, 2015 a group of fourteen students and seven staff members from Palmer High School traveled to Alyeska to participate in the ski/snowboard program at Challenge Alaska. This program is designed to teach individuals with a variety of disabilities how to ski or snowboard. Challenge Alaska utilizes therapeutic recreation, adaptive sports, and education to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities as well as others through community support.
