PHS Ski & Snowboard Trip to Challenge Alaska on February 18, 2014

On February 18, 2014 a group of eleven students and five staff members from Palmer High School traveled to Alyeska to participate in the ski/snowboard program at Challenge Alaska. This program is designed to teach individuals with a variety of disabilities how to ski or snowboard. Challenge Alaska utilizes therapeutic recreation, adaptive sports, and education to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities as well as others through community support.
