Welcome to the PJMS Library!

Our library is open from 7:30AM -3:00PM Monday-Friday, following the school calendar. We maintain a flexible schedule and are a resource for students to read, research, and rejuvenate at all times. Throughout the school year students can be in found in the library working with their classes, on projects, or online in their Google Classrooms. The PJMS library is a technological and literary resource available to students, staff, and families. Please stop by and see us!

    About the Librarian (pictured above)

My name is Elizabeth Crowley and I have been an educator in the Mat-Su School District for twenty-four years. I taught 5th grade at Sherrod Elementary before coming to PJMS where I am proud to be the Librarian as well as teaching 8th Grade Advanced Teen Leadership and the I Love Reading Elective for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. I am also privileged to be the Club Sponsor for both Battle of the Books and National Junior Honor Society.

I received my Bachelors of Education from UAA in 1993 and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. After many rewarding years teaching at the elementary school I was thrilled to become a certified librarian (Library Science at Montana State University) in 2016 and subsequently accept the librarian position at PJMS.

In my spare time I love to read (of course), travel, and spend time with my husband of twenty-four years, Dane, and my daughter Katie who is currently a freshman attending Penn State University. I'm proud to be part of PJMS and the community of Palmer.
