I am a lifelong Alaskan, having been raised in Fairbanks where it is very cold in the winter but seldom windy like Wasilla. I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I went on to get my master's degree in education from the University of Alaska Southeast.
I have taught 6th grade Geography and Language Arts, 7th grade Geography, Reading, and Science, and 8th grade American History. Currently I am teaching 7th grade Language Arts and Eastern Hemisphere Studies.
Wasilla Middle School has been my home for more than a decade. I am dedicated to its success, as well as the success of my students.
