• Standard Based Report Cards

In keeping with the district requirements, student work is evaluated using a Standards-Based Report Card. The Standards-Based Report Card measures how well an individual student is doing in relation to the grade level expectations. This will give parents an understanding of their child’s strengths and weaknesses and encourage all students to do their best.

Instead of letter grades, four numbers will be used to reflect your child’s progress toward meeting each learning objective. The numbers are as follows:

4  - Advanced Level of Performance

Mastery of grade level standards without prompting or support.

     - Proficient Level of Performance

Meets grade level standards with minimal prompting and support.

2 -   Below Proficient But Progressing

Partially meets grade level standards with some adult prompting and support

                                          1 -  Far Below Proficient
Performs below grade level standards even with adult prompting and support.
