In Theory of Knowledge (TOK) students reflect on ways of knowing, the metacognitive process, and the philosophy of knowledge. By integrating different subject areas, TOK provides a holistic look at the process of learning, "knowing," and the similarities and differences between different disciplines. 

 

TOK is a required class for the full IB Diploma. However, it can also be taken as an elective by any interested student.
