    Course Description

    Students will demonstrate independent and supported daily living skills at school and in the community.

     Communication

    Students will learn principles of functional reading and writing for daily living skills at school and in the community.

    ·         Read for entertainment.

     

    ·         Complete forms with demographic information.

    ·         Write lists and notes.

    Students will learn principles of functional mathematics for daily living skills.

    ·         Develop basic operation and numeration skills in math .

    ·         Identify and apply basic measurement skills to real life situations.

    ·         Identify and apply basic money skills to real life situations.

    ·         Identify and apply basic time skills to real life situations.

    ·         Use one-to-one correspondence to solve real life problems.
