Welcome Back Message from our FTA (Family, Teacher Association)
We are getting things rolling with our FTA. We have a new website up and running that will allow us to take membership payments online, as well as post events, sell fundraising products and of course accept donations.
Please check it out! https://larson-elementary-pta.square.site — we have added a link to our membership form that can be printed off and sent in with your kid in their homework folders. Please simply fill it out and send in your membership fee, or write paid online on the top if you have chosen to pay on our website. We keep track of all memberships and the classroom teachers for a membership drive competition we will be having later this month.
As the year kicks off we know Larson has a lot of both new and returning families in the building who need some new spirit wear gear! Luckily for you, we’ve got you covered.
Starting September 4th our Fall Spirit wear fundraiser will kick off and will be running through the 18th of September.
You can order online and details will be sent home with your kids this week. Gear will have a curbside pick-up evening and also will be sent home with students whose parents choose not to do curbside. More information on pick-up will be available after the ordering deadline.
We are still working out how to hold our first meeting and will post information on our Facebook page and our website when those details are available.
Thank you so much for all the interest in getting involved, we look forward to meeting with everyone real soon. — Larson FTA

Larson Covid-19 Information
The health and safety of our students, teachers, staff, and Larson family members is our top priority. The MSBSD has created a website specifically designed to house the most updated information regarding the virus. Please visit the website below for up to dateinformation and important resource guides.
We realize how important it is for some students to stick to a routine. Please click on the videos below to help you and your child/children off to a great start each school day morning!
Remote Learning Resources
On March 16, 2020, a new phase of education began for Mat-Su schools. This new phase involves adaptability and flexibility for educators, students, and MSBSD families.
The primary method of education delivery will be online. However, to ensure that every student has access to learning materials and activities, MSBSD will provide the opportunity for parents and students to access printed copies of materials if necessary, regardless of computer and internet access at home. Teachers and principals will coordinate scheduled times at the school level to arrange for delivery of offline learning materials to families. We ask that parents and students work with the student’s teacher, or principal, for arrangements that work best for individual family situations. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance or help.
Students of the Month
Students of the Month are chosen by their teachers because they exemplify academic excellence, exhibit exceptional character, and show their Larson pride! We applaud all our star students!Check back in September for our August/September Students of the Month for 2020!
