    Houston Junior Senior High School will ensure every day is a HAWKS day.  We will exhibit Honesty and integrity in everything we do.  We will model a positive and supportive Attitude as we face the challenges of life.  Our strong Work ethic will enable everyone to reach their potential.  These actions will provide the foundation for the Knowledge and skills that will be learned, all of which will lead to Success as an individual and school.

    The History of Houston Junior Senior High
     
     
     
     
    The staff at HJS consists of around 55 certified staff and a support staff of around 23. The school's enrollment is typically between 700 and 800 students in grades 6th through 12th.  Our school's current boundary ranges from Church Rd to the Willow/Fishhook Hatcher Pass Road area on the George Parks Hwy, which includes the Meadow Lakes area and the Big Lake area in between.
