I am a Special Education Assistant at Big Lake Elementary School. This is my 5th year with the school, and I am looking forward to assisting the next wonderful group of students with learning, socializing, playing and reaching their full potential. in the special education preschool class. This is my third year at Big Lake Elementary School, but my first year in preschool. I am looking forward to assisting our wonderful group of students with learning, socializing, playing and reaching their full potential.
I am originally from New York and bounced between spending summers on the beaches of Long Island and the winters enjoying performances at the Metropolitan Opera House. After college I spent several years working with mentally ill adults and individuals with substance abuse problems. The work was very difficult, but at the same time rewarding. I am married and have two children and two step children. My family has always enjoyed traveling and having an adventure, so we traded the bright lights of the city for big sky country and moved to Gardiner, Montana where Yellowstone National Park became our back yard and traffic jams consisted of roaming bison and elk. Then, keeping pace with our love for adventure we came to Big Lake and fell in love with this small town.
Over the last few years me and my family have become involved in ice hockey, skating and horseback riding. Most summers I can be found fishing with my kids trying to land "the big one" or hard at work in my vegetable garden. I look forward to spending many more years with my Big Lake family.
Lets make this an EXCITING year!
