This year we have a brand new health registration system that all students need to have completed for the 2018 school year.  Please make sure you have registered your student with the caredox system.  Https://www.caredox.com

Every year I perform standard health screens on all new students to district and all 7th graders. The standard health screen includes: height, weight, hearing, vision and blood pressure. I send out referrals if needed to be reassessed by a physician.

*Per school board policy, please do not send medications to school with your student (this includes everything from cough drops and beyond).

*All medication must be delivered by a parent/guardian or their adult designee in the original packaging. Prescription medications need to have a current prescription label affixed. For inhalers and epi-pens, please provide the box with a label attached if the device itself is not labeled.

*Over-the-Counter medications that are permitted to be administered in the school setting include Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin (ibuprofen), Benadryl (diphenhydramine), dramamine, lactase and cough drops. Any other OTC medications may only be given with a note from a Health Care Provider.

*Please contact the school nurse to complete a permission form if the administration of Over-the-Counter and/or Prescription medications is needed for your student during the school year.

*If your student currently has asthma, diabetes, seizures, or history of anaphylaxis(severe allergies) please contact the school nurse to initiate a care plan for the coming school year.
