MSBSD HOLDS QPR YOUTH RETREAT

A work in partnership with Careline Alaska, a member of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, this year's theme is "Hope makes the difference."

Students and schools have been encouraged to participate in the "Wall of Hope" Project 2016. Students work together with peers, teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify three things that make them want to live, sharing responses in a common wall display.

Tara Moore, MSBSD Counselor Coordinator, and other District staff, including school counselors, worked with students and presenters. More than 200 students participated in this training.
