    Alyssa (Reyanna) Peters-Landlord, recent CTHS graduate, was named a 2013 Gates Millennium Scholar by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. CTHS counselor, Nancy Haerer, in nominating Reyanna, wrote, "For any student, pursuing higher education is a financially daunting prospect. Each child made a booklet of the stages of growth; the eggs were candled to determine which were fertilized and which could be eaten; and then the big day--hatching!     Parents now have a method to report online student absences. A written note or telephone call is still acceptable, but online reporting is easy through iParent. Parents know if the absence is excused and for what reason. It is a way for schools to accurately report and track data on student absences.
