ATTENDANCE

Our attendance policy for Perfect Attendance at Knik Elementary is ”Student present all day, everyday.”

Elementary absences are to be recorded as full or half day absence. Students who arrive between 30 minutes and 2.5 hours after school has started are to be considered absent for .5 days. Those arriving after 2.5 hours are to be considered absent all day. Students who leave 1 hour before the end of the school day are to be considered .5 day absent. 3 tardies equals 1 absence.
