    The MSBSD School Board has approved the 2015-2016 School Year Calendar. Community input included an online survey with over 3500 responses and public comment.

  • MSBSD ENANUAQ PROGRAMS HOSTS FAMILY NIGHTS

    MSBSD Enanuaq Preschool Program is academic center-based for three and four-year-old Alaska Native and Native American children to prepare them for kindergarten readiness. There are sessions at Wasilla High and Burchell High. The high school program is designed to support supplemental educational learning opportunities through the federally funded Alaska Native Education Program. The grant expires in FY15.

    Thursday and Friday, October 30 and 31, are Parent/Teacher Conference Days in the MSBSD. Please check with your school for schedules. If your child attends a non-traditional Mat-Su school, follow your school's calendar. For traditional schools, no school for students on these two days.

  • MSBSD COLLEGE OR CAREER READINESS ASSESSMENT (CCRA)

    Last year the state legislature passed HB278, which repealed the High School Graduation Qualifying Exam for Alaska students, but now requires that all 11th grade students take a College or Career Readiness Assessment (CCRA) specifically the ACT, SAT, or WorkKeys. Read More....

        • Good morning, PJMS students and staff. Today is Monday, January 26, 2015 and it is an ”A” day.           V, JV, & C-Team Volleyball games after school today against Grace!  Good luck to our fabulous Ladies!

           

          Our first chess meet will be with Teeland Middle School tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27.  Students will meet in the PJMS library at around 8:15 (P2), and the meet will run until approximately 11:15.  Go Moose!

           

          It is athletic eligibility week.  Please remember to pick up your forms from your coaches or the front office.  Get them to each of your teachers and return them to your coaches by Thursday.

           

          ANSEP permission slips are due today!  Be sure your turn them into the front office before you leave the building.  Come to the front office during lunch if you have any questions.  

           

          Wrestlers – this week you will have a tournament at Colony – Friday will be JV, Saturday will be Varsity.  Additionally, this will be the final week that students can join wrestling… there are a couple of weight classes that need to be filled so if you are interested please talk to the coaches after school today.
