The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001 requires states to adopt challenging academic content and standards that apply to all schools and children in the state. NCLB also requires states to administer yearly student assessments in math and language arts and report achievements to parents and the community. Title I is one part of ten included in the NCLB act. Title I supports programs in schools and school districts to improve the learning of children from low-income families. Use the buttons below to learn more about the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District's NCLB and Title I programs.
