Swanson Elementary is a K-2 school located in beautiful Palmer, Alaska.

Our focus on building a strong academic foundation in the primary grades only provides a unique learning environment for our students. Working closely with our neighbors at Sherrod Elementary (3rd through 5th grades), we are proud to help guide the children of our community toward success now and in the future. 
 
Our focus on building a strong foundation in the primary grades only provides a unique learning environment for our students.  Many of our staff have early childhood degrees and coursework.  We love the littlest learners!  Working closely with our neighboring school, Sherrod Elementary (3rd - 5th grades), we are proud to help guide the children of our community toward success now and in the years to come.
