Mission Statement: M.S.Y.O seeks to build musicianship, provide opportunities for performance, and inspire students and community members to value and support arts education in the Valley.

I  have been a Music Educator for over 16 years. I have classical training as a cellist, and am currently a Music teacher at Shaw Elementary School. I am excited about the youth string students learning the art of performance and sharing the love of music with the community.

Meeting Place: Shaw Elementary School 352-0500 (3750 E. Paradise Lane, Wasilla AK)
Meeting Time: Thursdays @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Participants: M.S.Y.O. is open to all Middle School, High School and adult string musicians who play and read music at an intermediate level. We are taking new members, and encourage interested persons to come to a rehearsal to see if the youth orchestra would be right for you.
