    February 5th from 10:00 am - 11:00 a.m. Knik Elementary will host a volunteer training. Terri Rice, Admin Secretary, along with Libbie Davidson, Secretary I, will be hosting the training for volunteers. They will be demonstrating use of office equipment in our work room.

  • Dena'ina Elementary

    Opening this fall, August 2016, enrolling k-5 students. Dena'ina will host a meet and greet with Principal Andrea Everett at Redington JSHS on February 24th at 6:00 p.m.

  • Math Maniacs

    3rd grade students are encouraged to become a math maniac by learning their times tables. Assemblies take place for the 3rd grade classes so they may share the achievement with fellow students. Students are recognized by Mrs. Pedersen and recieve a Math Maniac t-shirt. Watch the calendar for upcoming dates.

        School Hours: 9:15am - 3:45pm
         Students should not be dropped off before 9:00 am
        Students should be picked up by 4:00 pm
        Buses Depart at 4:00 pm
        Please call in end of day changes by 3:00 pm
        Please remember there is "NO PARKING" in the fire lane in front of the building,
        as indicated by the red curb and no parking signs , it is a drop off zone only.
        If you are waiting in the parking lot please turn off your vehicle,
        excessive exhaust is unhealthy, we have young lungs at work.

        Knik Elementary Parents,

        As a requirement of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, states and school districts must issue annual report cards to parents. The purpose of the report card is to provide parents with information about the district and their child’s school in regards to teacher qualifications, academic achievement, and school/district accountability.         • arrow MSBSD START TIMES - 2015-2016
          School start/end times will remain the same for the 2015-2016 school year.
          Elementary schools time is 9:15 to 3:45.
          Middle/secondary schools time is 7:45 to 2:15.
          There are exceptions for northern schools:
          Willow start time is 8:20. Dismissal at 3:00 on M, Tu, Th, Fri & 1:40 on W.
          Talkeetna begins at 8:30. Dismissal at 3:00 on M, Tu, Th, Fri & 1:40 on W.
          Trapper Creek begins at 8:30. Dismissal at 3:00.
          Su Valley Jr/Sr High School begins at 8:30. Dismissal is at 2:54.
          If your child attends a charter school, confirm the time with your school.
